I am finally back in Charlotte after an 18-day stint on the west coast. NASCAR traveled from Vegas to Phoenix to California, so I did as well! I had never been to Vegas so I was lucky to have a full week to explore.

I packed all of my recent SheInside apparel. I am obsessed with their built-in sweaters. I know y’all get nervous ordering overseas because of size discrepancies, but these fit like a glove!

I’d been to the Serendipity in Manhattan and was pleasantly surprised that there was one in Vegas too! You can’t beat a frozen hot chocolate. We did some shopping at Kitson and then roamed the strip.

If I could do the trip over again, I would spend the entire time at the Bellagio pool. It doesn’t even look real in pictures and the flowers smelled amazing. Plus, there’s no reason for me to waste any time gambling. I’m terrible at it 🙁

One of my favorite nights was getting to see Carrot Top. The guy gets a bad rap… he’s hilarious! (And passed out shots of Crown during the show!) He was nice enough to invite the NASCAR folks to his green room afterwards and was a super laid-back, friendly dude.

One of the standouts from my trip were the rides at the top of the Stratosphere. I wanted to bungee jump, but chickened out at the top after a couple rides were closed due to high winds! Hopefully, I’ll be braver next time. I’m not a big drinker or partier, so I didn’t think I’d fall in love with Vegas the way I did. But I had a blast and cannot wait to get back! Best people-watching in the world!!
