Hi, loves! Before y’all groan over another Valentine’s Day post, hear me out – I know y’all have a love/hate relationship with this holiday but TBH, it’s just a good excuse to wear all the adorable red and pink pieces, raid the chocolate aisle on February 15th, and watch Nicholas Sparks movies. Valentine’s Day, for me, almost always falls on Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway, so Jeremy and I rarely get to celebrate! So I won’t bore you with all of the romance and instead share some recent purchases 😉
While I’m a pink girl through and through, I have found myself buying a ton of red lately. I have been in such a Winter rut and February is such a funky month to shop for. I am over all the neutral sweater looks and ready for some color, but how Spring-y can I go when it’s still freezing out? Enter this bold hue. It pairs perfectly with pink now and gingham as it begins to warm up.
Which leads me to this outfit… This bow-sleeve blouse is just TOO darling! I am a sucker for bows and sleeve details so be still be heart. The skirt is new, too. J.Crew Factory put a spin on their classic sidewalk skirt by adding a scallop hem. It comes in four colors, but be sure to size down – I’m a size 27 in pants/skirts and wearing a size 0. And last but not least are these red mules. They also come in four colors and are so dang comfy that I want them all. Be sure to size up one half size because they run a tad small.
