Red Lace-Up Flats Outfit

Tank: Express / Denim: Nordstrom (similar here) / Shoes: Forever 21 / Flannel: Charlotte Russe / Denim Jacket: Old Navy / Bag: Kate Spade (old, own and LOVE this version) / Sunglasses: Karen Walker / Monogrammed Necklace: Etsy / Bracelets: Loren Hope, Loren Hope, Loren Hope, Alex & Ani / Watch: Michael Kors / Rings: BaubleBar, Etsy, Forever 21 / Curling Wand: Hot Tools

Sorry for the picture overload heading your way, this outfit just happens to be one of my all-time favs and something I wear on a regular basis. It might be one of the first times I have ever worn flats on the blog, as well (I’m short). But I just love how these lace-up flats add a pop of color to the outfit, so I will sacrifice some height for them 😉 I am even considering these pink ones as well! Other than the bag and sunnies, the rest of the outfit is under $100! Jeans are under $60, shoes are under $30, and y’all have seen me wear this tank 1,000 times, but it’s under $40. This Kate Spade Beau Bag will forever be one of my favs, but unfortunately isn’t for sale anymore. Last time I wore this outfit, though, I wore this red micro Kate Spade crossbody and loved the outfit even more!

Leopard Vest (from the Girl’s Section at Target)

Shirt: Marley Lilly / Vest: Target (Similar here) / Jeans: TopShop / Bag: Kate Spade (Target version here) / Necklace: Etsy / Watch: Apple / Bracelets: Alex & Ani / Boots: JustFab (sold out, similar here)

I have a confession to make… I shopped in the kids section at Target. And I am by no means a little girl! But when I saw this vest, I wasn’t going to let being 15 years over the recommended age stop me from fitting into it! 😉 As it turned out, an XL fit like a glove. Score for the grown-ups!

Put A Bow On It

Shirt: Volcom (Similar with bow here & here) / Leggings: Nordstrom / Jacket: Forever 21 / Bowtie: Nasty Gal / Bag: Kate Spade (sold out, similar version under $35) / Shoes: Prima Donna / Bracelets: Bip & Bop c/o / Sunglasses: Karen Walker

Hey y’all! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. I headed out to the drag strip for my first NHRA experience. Y’all know I love racing and have been to almost every type, except for drag racing. Well, I’m hooked. We were invited into the John Force Racing pit area and got to meet John Force and watch the team work on the cars. I couldn’t believe how different the environment was than NASCAR (and how the alcohol fumes make you tear up!) You’ll have to check it out if you get the chance.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I am obsessed with bow ties. They really elevate a plain collared shirt! I found this snap back bow tie at Forever 21 recently, but unfortunately it has sold out. The two shirts I linked have them built in and I love them!

Have a great week!
