I know that August has just begun, but if you love the look of Hunter Boots in the Fall, NOW is the time to invest in a pair. Hunter Boots are notorious for selling out of styles and colors as the weather cools down and you definitely don’t want to miss out on that must-have shade.

Picking a color is oh-so-personal, but y’all may have noticed that may favorites are the pink sand and red. The pink pairs perfectly with cognac, navy, and olive green throughout the Fall and the red is my go-to color for transitioning to Winter.

Y’all may have heard that sizing for these wellies is a little tricky. I rounded up everything you need to know before buying Hunter Boots HERE, but I typically suggest ordering two sizes from a retailer like Zappos or Nordstrom that offers free shipping and returns. That way you can be totally sure you’re getting the size that best fits you. For example, I am a true 8.5. I ordered a size 7 and 8 and found that the 7 actually fit best.

Now, there are endless ways to style Hunter Boots and they’re all relatively self-explanatory, but I just wanted to round up some of my favorite looks for inspo and share some of my favorite Fall pieces I plan on pairing with them.

As Summer winds down and Fall creeps in, the frequent afternoon showers have me constantly reaching for my Hunter Boots. To stay cool and comfy, I love pairing my boots with solid or striped mini dresses. My favorite silhouette is the short-sleeve a-line – so flattering. Come cold weather, I’ll swap the breezy dresses for sweater dresses, vests, and boot socks.

This girl loves an a-line mini skirt. If you have been following me for any length of time, then you know that this is my go-to outfit. The cut really balances out larger legs and gives the illusion of a smaller waist! Plus, I’m so much comfier in a skirt that jeans. It reminds me of this meme (LOL) A three-piece look (skirt, sweater, and vest) just looks so chic and pulled together. And the addition of a colorful pair of Hunter Boots is such a fun pop of color!

If we’re being honest, leggings and sweatshirts are what you’ll most commonly find me in throughout Fall. And while I don’t completely fall into the camp of folks who believe leggings double as pants, I do like to layer up with a long t-shirt that covers my bum. These under $20 shirts from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale are my favorites. Since I live in these sweatshirts, I do splurge a little on brands like Patagonia. I’ll throw a puffer jacket over this whole look for a snow day as well. Hunter Boots (with fleece boot socks) make great snow shoes.

Now y’all don’t need me to give any advice on how to pair a rain boots with denim, but the look is so classic, I had to share some recent look plus my favorite skinny jeans. My trick is to play with colors and patterns! Layer plaid under stripes, try pink and red together, and use the boots to elevate an easy look.

  1. Very cute! Was contemplating buying some but wasn’t sure if in Red (the cutest) or in Black (the most practical)! Thank you for the outfit inspiration!
