Hi loves! I am BACK with another fun look from Charleston. Stay tuned because later in the week I am rounding up our WHOLE trip in a travel guide! It’s taking a little longer than usual because we basically did all the things 😉
When it came to shopping for the trip, this dress was a no-brainer. The color, the midi cut, and the lace screamed southern charm. And speaking of Southern Charm, did I tell y’all that J.D. gave our group a personal bourbon tasting at Gentry Bar?! Y’all. I don’t know if you love the show like I do, but it was too exciting!
Ok, ok, back to fashion. I have had these Sam Edelman heels FOREVER. But the tall heel was a little too much for Charleston. You spend a lot of time walking on cobblestone (side note – yes, I almost ate it more times than I can count). Luckily, I found THESE sandals at Target. They are an inexpensive dupe of the Steve Madden version and were perfect for all the sight seeing we did. Highly recommended!
Hey Cortney! How comfortable are the Target heels you mentioned? I’m assuming they can’t be too bad if you wore them around Charleston all day… I’m looking for something similar that I can wear for a full day in the office. Would the Sam Edelman sandals be what you would recommend for a version with a higher heel or have you found any others to be more comfortable?
Hey Joanna! How are you?! I definitely prefer the shorter Target version for a full day at the office. The Sam Edelman ones are certainly not the comfiest heels I own. Plus, I like the look of a shorter heel better 🙂 And the price tag is tough to beat!
