Happy Tuesday! This post was scheduled to go up yesterday, but I got so caught up in running errands and prepping to be out of town the rest of the week, that it got pushed back to today. Jeremy and I are heading to Daytona Beach this afternoon and I am SO ready for the warm weather. What I can’t believe, however, is that the NASCAR season is already here! The off-season feels like it flew by.
If you’re new here, you may not know that I worked in NASCAR for six years before bringing my blog full time. I began as admin at an XFINITY Series team and then moved on to Travel Coordinator, Public Relations, and ultimately I was the Director of Marketing and Communications at my third team when I left my job last April. I developed this blog while working in the sport as a place I could share my love of fashion – something that doesn’t quite exist in auto racing. But as my years in the sport went on, my passion for blogging began to rival my passion for racing. Luckily, I didn’t have to choose! My husband is a driver and my besties do public relations, so NASCAR will always be a big part of my life 🙂
As such, I’m planning on going to the first three races of the season beginning with Daytona this weekend, then Atlanta and Las Vegas. I am excited to get to spend time on the road with Jeremy, but phew! It’s a lot for one month. I’ll be sharing all the behind the scenes on my Instagram Stories, so if y’all have any interest in what going on at a NASCAR race, be sure to stay tuned.
Now, on to the fashion… I know y’all didn’t come here for NASCAR (LOL!) This sweater is such a must-have for late Winter through Spring. The colors, the knit, and the triangle hem make it so unique and the perfect transitional piece. I also have to RAVE about these jeans – we all know the struggle with finding the perfect pair of denim. I, for one, very rarely wear jeans because I honestly just hate pants. That is, until I found these! They run TTS, are mid-rise, stretchy AF, and come in a ton of washes. The best part is that they’re only $78! So if you’re a leggings girl through and through like me, you need to try these out.
