SHOP THE POST:

Of all the stresses of wedding planning, creating our Save the Date cards has been the least. For many parts of the planning process, I have been unsure what direction to go. Luckily, when it came to our Save the Date cards, I had exactly what I wanted in mind. Thanks to Minted and my photographer Alison, my dreams became a reality.

Snagging the cliff-side pic at Blowing Rock did require us to break a No Trespassing law, but I think it was worth it! Then I took the photo straight to Minted.com – picked a layout, uploaded the photo, added in my text and viola! My dream Save the Date cards in no time at all. They arrive quickly and with matching envelopes; plus you can even get addresses printed on the cards.

Time-saving tip for brides-to-be: Use Postable.com/address-book to collect guests’ addresses. It saved me a HUGE headache! Postable will generate a unique URL that you send to all of your friends and family. Then they fill in their name and address and it is put into an online address book for you. I literally spent 10 minutes on all of this and already have almost every guest’s info!
