Hi guys! How was your weekend? I am having a ROUGH start to the week and am ready for Monday to be over. We went out on the lake yesterday and had a little too much fun, so I was hurting this morning. Naturally, I thought that Chick fil a could solve all my problems and Jeremy was sweet enough to head out to grab me some. Unfortunately while he was in line, someone backed into my truck and left a pretty nasty dent. So while he is off at the body shop, I thought I would share this dress and a few things I am loving this week. Maybe chatting about some fun products can help turn today around. Keep scrolling to read!

WHAT I’M LOVING

DENIM SHORT PERFECTION: If you scroll through my feed you’ll see that I don’t have any pictures in jean shorts. Over years of hunting, I had never been able to find a pair I loved. They were either too short or too long, stuck to my thighs, or cut into my hips. That is, until now. This pair is a little pricier, but worth every penny. I ordered my regular size 27 and they fit perfectly. Y’all know that I very rarely ever encourage you to purchase something over $100, but if you’re looking to invest in denim shorts you’ll wear for years to come, these are it!

COZY LOUNGEWEAR: One of the perks of working from home is the luxury of wearing sweats as my office attire. But when schlepping around the house, I still want to look pulled together. I have recently purchased this pink ‘Bonjour’ sweatshirt and this popsicle pullover, both in size medium, and I have received more DMs about these than any fancy dresses I’ve ever posted. I guess y’all like to be comfy and cute as well! I rounded up some favorites below.

BINGEWORTHY TV: I go through phases of binging books, podcasts, and shows and as of late, I have been quite the coach potato. After finishing up the second season of 13 Reasons Why (super intense), I decided to revisit True Blood after almost 10 years. Y’all – I am sucked in! Any show that has Joe Manginello AND Alexander Skarsgard will have me hooked. You can only find it on the HBO Go app so if you have it already, I would highly recommend watching. It’s basically Twilight if Twilight was rated NC-17 (lol).

CHIC PALM-PRINT COVERUP: I have a couple of beach trips coming up and was on the hunt for a chic coverup. I luckily stumbled upon this one and it is better than I could have ever imagined! The print and cut are seriously GORGEOUS.

BEST TANNING FOAM: One of the most common questions I’m asked is about self tanning. I feel like I have tried every tanning foam on the market and my hands-down favorite is St. Moriz’s Professional Fast Tanning Mousse. Other than the quality, the best part is that it’s under $15! The application is simple (I use a mitt for my body and a kabuki brush for my face) and then you leave it on from 1-3 hours, depending on how deep you want your tan. I usually just apply it at night and sleep with it on for a dark tan.

HOLOGRAPHIC LIP GLOSS: I had been wanting a good reason to jump on the holographic cosmetics trend for quite a while, but all of the options were a little too wild for me. So imagine my surprise when Buxom sent over their new line of Full-On Lip Polishes in eight metallic finishes. The unique thing about these glosses (other than the tingly, lip plumping), is that they’ll bring out the undertones of whatever lip stick you’re wearing. They suggest you pair the blue color with a classic red lip to pull out the berry undertones and the peach color over nude lips to make them pop.

LISI LERCH DUPES: If you’re like me, then you’re a mega fan of Lisi Lerch earrings. Her statement styles are so classic. The only downside to them are the price tag. Luckily, Red Dress Boutique released a line of dupes that are all under $30! Shop my favorites below.

HAIR CARE: I finally invested in prestige hair care and I don’t know how I didn’t sooner! As y’all probably know, I have tape-in hair extensions. I went a few inches longer this time and it is nearly impossible to keep them from tangling. Each time I try to brush out the tangles, I am pulling more and more of the hair out and might as well be burning money. But after using a few Kerastase products, I have noticed a HUGE difference in the softness, smoothness, and even the weight of my hair. I first use the Resistance conditioner, followed by the shampoo. Then I add a few drops of both the serum and concentrate to my towel-dried hair and style from there. These products are life savers for my extensions!

Those are my favorites, but I would love to hear yours! Leave a comment below with the products and pieces that you’re currently obsessing over. I am always on the hunt 🙂
