Happy Friday from chilly California! We touched down in Monterey on Wednesday for the last leg of this crazy three-week trip I’ve been on. The driver I represent is competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series at Laguna Seca and holy beautiful! I am in LOVE with Monterey **insert heart eyes emoji** Enough so to almost forget about the jet lag and time zone screwed up-ness. We drove up to San Francisco for the day Wednesday to check out the Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square, and the Painted Ladies… I’ve had the Full House theme song stuck in my head since! Yesterday, I went to the wharf here and wandered along the shops and restaurants. Fingers crossed it warms up a bit so we can dip our toes in the Pacific 🙂 I packed the outfit below for this fluctuating weather… still Springy but enough layers to keep me warm.
Good morning from Spain! I’m writing this post from the Valencia airport… we’re heading back home to America (fingers crossed my luggage makes it this time). We’ll be home for two days before majorly screwing up our time zones all over again in California for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo season-opener. We have been in Valencia, Spain for the week competing in the NASCAR Euro Series and I can’t get over how sweet and welcoming everyone was. Spain has been lovely, but definitely has its quirks. For starters, stores close during the day and restaurants don’t open for dinner until 8 or 9. Then there are the overwhelming 7-story department stores! And I have never eaten so much bread before in my life. But Old Town Valencia was gorgeous 🙂 I loved the windy streets, the architecture and the culture.
Hola from Spain y’all! What a wild few days getting here… I’m surprised I didn’t go crazy! I’m in Valencia, Spain for the week for a NASCAR Euro race. Valencia is the third-largest city in Spain and is on the East coast of the country, about three hours from Madrid. We had two layovers (NYC and Madrid) on the way here and I didn’t receive my luggage for 36 hours after arriving 🙁 Thank goodness I had packed some extra clothes in my carry-on, so we spent the first day exploring Old Town Valencia and the Oceanografic… absolutely gorgeous! I’ll share pictures soon, but I couldn’t wait to show y’all this look. I just die for this dress! The length is a little long, so I sized down to XS for reference. Well, time for me to go to sleep! We’re six hours ahead here so it is past midnight! xoxo
