I don’t own many turtlenecks, but when I saw this comfy oversized sweater at Forever 21 I thought I would make an exception. But I can’t lie, the Mitch Hedberg clip below totallyyyy went through my mind when I put it on!
😉 Mitch Hedberg speaks the truth! Now I am off to finish packing. I am flying to Miami tomorrow to board my first-ever cruise! I am soooo excited!! I hope y’all have a great weekend!
Hey y’all! I am excited to share the first of a few holiday looks. I can’t get enough of swing shirts and dresses! They are the perfect base for layering in Fall and Winter. This gray sweater dress is from Windsor Store and only $29! I pair it with boots and a scarf when it’s warmer and tights and booties when its chillier.
Plus, I need something comfy after the packed weekend we had and this busy upcoming week. Jeremy and I went to his friend’s wedding Saturday night and I realized of all the clothes I have, I don’t have any nice dresses. I am so excited to be going on my first-ever cruise next week and they let me know I need a fancier dress for the Captain’s Dinner (I’m such a rookie!) I didn’t feel like bracing the mall during this season, so I snagged this dress for $35 at Boohoo! It came in the mail yesterday and I love it even more in person 🙂 I will definitely be re-wearing for holiday parties.
We also went to my first WWE event. I’m not going to lie, it was extremelyyy entertaining and I would definitely go again. I could have used a drink or three (it was Sunday night so I passed), but regardless it was hilarious and I recommend going if it’s in your city just for the giggles!
Hey y’all! Sorry I have been MIA recently… but, I have an excuse! I am excited to let you guys know that I am the new Director of Marketing and Communications for a NASCAR team 🙂 I traveled with them for the last two races of 2015 and combined with the holidays, I haven’t been able to share as many looks recently as I would like. Regardless, I have some new things in the works that I can’t wait to share with you soon.
Enough about me… I hope y’all had a great Thanksgiving! My step-grandmother began a convo about 50 Shades of Grey at the dinner table, so there’s that. I eventually snuck away and did a little Black Friday shopping Thursday night and it was surprisingly calm. Heck, I just wanted to see crazy ladies fighting for childrens’ toys. Is that too much to ask?! If y’all have any crazy shopper stories, please post them in the comments. I want to hear! 😉
