Beauty Secret | Activated Charcoal Shampoo & Conditioner

If you haven’t yet jumped on the activated charcoal beauty bandwagon, Pantene’s new Charcoal Collection Shampoo and Conditioner is the product I suggest you try, to dive into this trend. Charcoal beauty products are becoming increasingly popular thanks to all of the beauty benefits they provide. Your hair, like your skin, is permeable and can absorb toxins and dirt throughout the day. Not to mention the many products we tend to use in our hair that builds up! Activated charcoal works like a magnet to pull out these contaminants, product build-up and impurities, leaving your hair and scalp healthier. This is especially important to me because I have suffered with psoriasis throughout my life, which causes my scalp to be extra sensitive.

Because Pantene’s new Charcoal Collection Shampoo and Conditioner leaves my hair extra clean and purified – thanks to the activated charcoal, pro-vitamin B5 and antioxidants – it allows me to go an extra two days between washes. This is KEY while having extensions because blow dries take forever! Plus I am protecting my hair from the heat damage of styling. Win win! But it gets better – if you purchase this duo at your local Target or online, you will receive a $5 Target gift card!

Best of NSale Beauty

So real talk – I completely overlooked Nordstrom Anniversary Sale beauty section. I had my sights set on the pieces that go the fastest so it took me a week to really delve into the beauty products and damn, I’ve been missing out. I’m not just saying this – they are seriously the best they’ve ever been… especially if you’re wanting to try a brand or two out for the first time. So I wanted to round up some tried and true favorites of mine in case you were wanting to try something new or stock up on some much loved OGs.

OK, OK… we have been chatting about Fall fashion a little too much for my liking. I am NOT ready to give up swimsuits and breezy dresses and there is nothing but hot weather on the horizon. So why not round up some of my recent vacation looks?

Jeremy and I have gone from one vacation with my side of the family in Daytona to another with his family in Myrtle Beach. And in between the two, I was in Atlanta for the Nordstrom Sale – so basically I have three suitcases I need to unpack before he gets home from the race tonight. But before I do that, I had to share these looks because they’re some of the most colorful I’ve worn. So if you’re a color lover like me, read on and be sure to check out my latest Instagram post for a fun giveaway!
