Let’s talk about Fall, y’all. I would love for Summer to last as long as possible, but I’m trying to think about the positives here: college football, haunted houses, pumpkin-flavored everything… there are some plus sides to the inevitable here! So in preparation of Summer’s end, I have begun to purchase some Fall necessities. I have been wearing the heck out of an olive utility jacket for no joke, probably four years. And it was getting ROUGH. Plus, it was made of a cheap, stiff material and I had to sacrifice comfort for style.
Enter this field jacket PERFECTION. You guys – it. is. so. soft! Like butter! And I love the cut of it. I’m sure y’all have seen a million of these and they can go wrong real quick. But not only that, it is currently on sale for 40% off with code OHYES! So basically there’s no reason not to accept Fall’s slow encroachment and at least enjoy the fun layering to come 😉

Hi loves! I am BACK with another fun look from Charleston. Stay tuned because later in the week I am rounding up our WHOLE trip in a travel guide! It’s taking a little longer than usual because we basically did all the things 😉
When it came to shopping for the trip, this dress was a no-brainer. The color, the midi cut, and the lace screamed southern charm. And speaking of Southern Charm, did I tell y’all that J.D. gave our group a personal bourbon tasting at Gentry Bar?! Y’all. I don’t know if you love the show like I do, but it was too exciting!
Ok, ok, back to fashion. I have had these Sam Edelman heels FOREVER. But the tall heel was a little too much for Charleston. You spend a lot of time walking on cobblestone (side note – yes, I almost ate it more times than I can count). Luckily, I found THESE sandals at Target. They are an inexpensive dupe of the Steve Madden version and were perfect for all the sight seeing we did. Highly recommended!
Book me a trip to Palm Beach, because this dress is MADE for it!
I know I have said it a ton of times, but every order I get in from Shein keeps getting better and better. The quality, the material, the cut – all of it! It’s the perfect website so snag your favorite trendier items since just about everything is under $30. I just placed an order for these $25 Hermes sandal dupes and cannot wait until they arrive!
In the meantime, I’ll be getting all the wear I can out of this gorgeous maxi dress before Fall rolls around. Then I will save this pretty for an island vacation over the holidays!
