I can’t believe that the wedding has come and past and in the blink of eye, Jeremy and I are newlyweds in Italy. How long until my signature looks like an adult wrote it? Our cruise departed from Rome Monday afternoon, but we squeezed in some time for sight seeing before boarding. Jeremy has never been overseas before, but little did he know that I threw a coin in Trevi Fountain when I was 15 and it is oh so lovely to return (finally) 14 years later with my husband.
Our first port was Sicily, which was the perfect location to kick the trip off on the right foot. I figured there’s nothing like a day trip to Taormina to go glam in these striped culottes and crop top from ASOS. (I’m wearing a size US 6 in each, btw) Talk about being comfortable and chic, and in such a perfect place! I never thought I could pull off the culotte trend, but leave it to ASOS to have the perfect pair to make me feel totally next level. I paired the look with the perfect blush bow mules that were surprisingly comfortable for trekking through Corso Umberto.
Another day, another floral ensemble. I feel like I’m getting predictable! Good news, though – there’s only less than one week before y’all don’t have to hear me complain about planning a wedding anymore! LOL. I’ve been packing for the honeymoon this week and since the weather in Italy and Greece is as chilly as the low 60’s to as high as the upper 80’s, these breezy jumpsuits have been the perfect pieces to throw in my suitcase and wear no matter what the weather. They always feel like I am wearing pajamas, but still look chic and pulled together.
This one from Shelvie Jean is so sweet and perfect for Spring, plus y’all know I can’t turn down anything that’s off the shoulder. Shelvie Jean has so many cute pieces – I also picked up this pink pineapple pocket tee that I plan to pair with a white denim skirt. It’ll be perfect for a more casual day on the cruise! I’ll be sure to share it with y’all soon 🙂
Florals for Spring… groundbreaking, I know. But Meritt Clothing Label sure knows how to elevate them. I don’t know if it is the print, color, or cut of the fabric, but their pieces are always my favorite for this time of year. I mean give me a closet full of florals and gingham and I’m set for the season, amiright?! Seriously do yourselves a favor and just scroll through their collection here. I’m wearing a small in all the pieces!
I actually have this turquoise maxi on as we speak to head out for a day of meetings finalizing the wedding deets. First up is meeting with my planner. The guest list is continuously changing (if you’re married, you know the struggle) so I need to order a few more centerpieces and place settings. Then it’s on to a final overview of the day with my lovely photographer who actually shoots all my blog pics as well. Then last up is running by the bridal salon again because MY DOG ATE MY VEIL. No joke. She pulled it off the hanger and destroyed it. Luckily, Hayden Olivia Bridal had the exact same veil that a bride is no longer using. What are the odds?! Hope y’all have a wonderful day! xoxo
