Hey guys! I hope y’all had a fabulous weekend 🙂 I am getting a late start this Monday because we spent last night at Scarowinds, a local theme park that has haunted houses on the weekends, and we wound up not getting home until 2:30am. I honestly can’t believe we only have one week left until Halloween! Jeremy and I are going to have to go-go-go this week to see all the haunted houses we want to. Where did October go?!

In the meantime, I will continue to do all the fall things around the Carolinas. We stopped by Strawberry Hill (again) yesterday to snap this look and y’all, almost everything I’m wearing is under $30! This J.Crew sweater is on sale for $27 and comes in four colors – I got the gray version too. And this skirt is from Old Navy! Another amazing steal is this bag. I snagged it on a whim since it was only $28, but when it arrived, I was shocked at the quality! There is so much organization inside; it really is a must have.

I get SO many questions about these boots and no better time to share them than when they’re on sale for 30% off with code LOVESWEATER! They run TTS (I am and 8.5 and got a size 39) and are stretchy so they are great for all shapes and sizes. I, personally, have athletic calves and they fit great, but I have seen girls with stick thin legs and they look perfect on them as well! I love the short, stacked heel that makes them comfy to wear all day long.

Book Review – Psychological Thrillers

SHOP THE POST:

I have chatted with y’all on Instagram Stories quite often about my love for psychological thrillers and am so excited to learn that many of you are addicted to these twisted tales, as well! So I wanted to round up my most recent reads and share them with you here. I listed them in order of my favorites (beginning with my top pick), but all are definitely worth a read! Please leave a comment at the bottom of the post with your picks. I just picked up Ruth Ware’s In a Dark, Dark Wood and Gillian Flynn’s Sharp Objects, but I could definitely use your suggestions.

Embroidered Pom Pom Skirt

POST DETAILS:

Embroidered Skirt: Umgee | Sweater: Red Dress Boutique c/o | Boots: Sam Edelman | Bag: SheIn | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Earrings: BaubleBar

Happy Monday, y’all! Did anyone wake up to actual fall-like temperatures outside?! I actually typed up this post on my front porch because it was so dang nice outside! It gets me beyond excited for the South Carolina State Fair on Wednesday since this weather is sticking around for the rest of the week. Jeremy does an appearance there every year for NASCAR Night and we come early, unload his racecar, then spend the day at the fair. Eek, so fun! I am planning on wearing this yellow sweater because it is so cozy and warm, but (and you can’t tell from these photos) it’s actually tunic length so it pairs perfectly with leggings. I love how the model styles it in the product photo with leather leggings and leopard.

On another note, I have noticed that these Sam Edelman boots are beginning to get low in stock, so I have been on the hunt for slouchy boots. I own a couple pairs of over-the-knee boots and while I think the style is adorable, it is tough for me to keep them up around my thighs where they belong. I find that I’m pulling them up all day long! Anyone else have this problem. I love that with slouchy boots, they still look fine as gravity works on them PLUS they hide my biggest problem area – my calves. Long story short, I just ordered THESE. The style and price point are really similar so I have high hopes for them! They’re set to arrive early next week, so I’ll let y’all know how they look 🙂
