Happy Monday! This jersey is the perfect little tip of the hat to the amazeballs sports weekend we just witnessed. If you didn’t see the Hail Mary to end all Hail Marys, you’ll have to read this article. I was at my first MMA fight and had to have my mother narrate the 4th quarter of the Auburn-Georgia game to me over the phone… safe to say it was just a lot of screaming!
As for our final NASCAR race, we started on the front row and finished 11th. Not too shabby! Only 96 more days until Daytona…
On the fashion tip, I’d been searching for the perfect jersey top and found it at Chiara Fashion. If you’re a little hesitant about ordering from the UK, don’t be. It’s under $5 for shipping and doesn’t take long to arrive. We were hoping to snap a few more pics of it, but it started raining!

I went to my first blogger meet-up courtesy of The Charlotte Social on Monday at Nordstrom. We sipped champagne while shopping for holiday outfits styled by Bre of Baubles and Bubbly. It was nice to meet like-minded ladies and discuss all things bloggy. I learned a lot from some of the girls and can’t wait to try their tips! As a newbie, any bit of advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for the invite Bri!

I’m a sucker for a deal and two great shops have fallen into my lap this week! The first of which is Golden Stella, a wholesale jewelry store at America’s Mart in Atlanta. Basically every statement necklace I have ever coveted online is on their website but at a fraction of the price! Granted, you do have to spend a minimum of $100, but just get a couple friends together and go to town! Below are a few of the necklaces I snatched up to add some sparkle to my holiday outfits 🙂
Secondly, it’s official… H&M is FINALLY in Charlotte! I headed out to the opening yesterday at Northlake Mall and it was pandemonium! I had to try clothes on in the middle of the store (over my clothes of course) because the line was so long, but scooped up a few cute pieces. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks the madness will die down because I need my H&M!
Three
I discovered Monday that folks’ initial reaction to my blog’s name is that it is about law. What better way to squash that assumption than with some leopard-print business cards!? I made these guys in my spare time yesterday because I am hoping to attend more blogger meet-ups in the future and found myself in genuine appreciation of the ladies who gave me a card. I was also more likely to visit their blog. Win-win!

I booked my ticket for New York City on Sunday and am counting down the days until I get to see my bestie Kathleen! Aside from the temperature and heavier suitcase to accommodate all of the layers, I love the city this time of year! I am already trying to come up with my Santacon outfit. I’m thinking a red dress with a fur collar, white tights, black boots, and a Santa hat.
Side Note: I had been eying the above boots in tan for a little while now and went into my local boutique to buy them. They were sold out in my size, but she told me I could just purchase them from Just Fab. Luckily for me, when you sign up for Just Fab, you get your first pair of shoes for only $19.95! So I wound up saving $40 on the boots and already know that the quality is good. Just a tip for first-time Just-Fabbers 😉
I have also been eying the Karen Walker Super Duper sunnies in black, but cannot bring myself to pull the trigger until trying them on in person. I’m looking forward to swinging by Barney’s to find out if I love them as much in person!

It’s the final race of the NASCAR season! Where did the year go?! I can’t believe that I have had the pleasure of working for RAB Racing for over two full seasons now! We have come so far in the past few years and I am looking forward to 2014 already.
I have had such wonderful opportunities this season as I grow as a graphic designer. Some of the highlights included launching RAB Racing’s new website and designing the car numbers for Kenny Wallace and Alex Bowman’s cars. Outside of my team but still within the realm of NASCAR, I was lucky enough to design Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s hero cards, Tommy Baldwin Racing’s website, and the social media for Are You Faster Than A Redneck? I am blessed to work with such wonderful people.
But with the racing season ending means that it is officially the holiday season. I cannot deny it any longer. Currently, the shop guys have the radio on Christmas music and I’ve seen more blogger gift-giving guides than I can thumb through. Time to get shopping!
I’m excited to let y’all in on a brand I discovered: Angela & Roi. Not only are their bags high quality vegan leather and GORGEOUS, they give back! Donate by Color is the brand’s campaign to give $5 to the charity that corresponds to the color handbag you purchase. Since November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month, I thought it was only fitting to grab this neon tote supporting the cause. Talk about fashion meeting philanthropy! And when people ask you about your bag (which they will), it is the perfect opportunity to bring awareness to the cause. Win-win!
Since dubbing plaid and leopard neutrals, why not add neon to the mix? I wear a lot of gray, black, and white and like to add a pop of color in my accessories. This Angela & Roi tote is perfect for that. And I am pleasantly surprised at how much this bright bag goes with. The trick to adding neon to your fall and winter ensembles is by pairing it with chunky sweaters and dark hues. Add the neon as your accent piece to keep it from being so season-specific.
But don’t fret if brights aren’t your thing. If you’re more of a demure diva, check out their whole line of classic bags. Most are under $100 🙂
