Pumpkin Picking at Strawberry Hill

October is finally here, y’all! This month is my favorite and busiest month of the year. Coming up we have a trip to Blowing Rock, the Charlotte and Kansas races, a trip to Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando, and two trips to Atlanta, one for the RewardStyle city tour and another to visit Netherworld. Phew! Plus, whenever we get some spare time around here, we’ve been popping over to our local farms and orchards.

A few days ago, we visited Strawberry Hill and it certainly won’t be the last time this season! It was everything in my power not to buy all of the mums. We stuck to a pumpkin, a couple apple cider slushies and a trip through the corn maze 🙂 On tap for today is a quick drive over to Sky Top Orchard for some apple picking and cider donuts. Calories don’t count on Mondays, right?! Hope y’all have a lovely week and enjoy this fall weather!

Happy Saturday, y’all! This week has been a whirlwind, so I am excited to relax on the couch tonight, watch football, and shop the AMAZING sales going on – most importantly, the ShopBop sale. It has been extended and today is the last day to get 20-25% about half of the products above with code EOTS17.

There are a few fall trends that I am loving, so I wanted to show you a few pieces that I have recently ordered, some of which have already arrived! So I’m mixing it up a little and sharing some mirror selfies styling these pieces to show y’all all the different ways they can be mixed and matched. Hope you enjoy!

First things first… PINK!

Of course I am thrilled that all shades of pink are trending for fall – even HOT pink! Why hasn’t this been the case every year?! I ordered this pink sweater and pink scarves and can’t wait to style them with a denim skirt or pants. The best part? All three pieces are under $35!

Feminine for Fall

Piggy-backing off the pink trend, feminine silhouettes, colors, and embellishments are huge this season! You may have noticed that literally everything is pearl studded lately. I could die over the booties pictured above – how gorgeous! And this circle skirt gives even flannels a feminine flare. It’s only $29!

70’s Style

A-line skirts, stripes, and round, oversized sunnies – 70’s style has never looked so cute! For only $25, this denim mini is tough to turn down. Plus, it comes in multiple colors!

Classic and Preppy

There are some fall trends that just never go out of style – plaid button downs, tan jackets, and a classic bag. They just scream fall! I wear these flannels all season long. When it’s warm, I pair them with jeans or a skirt and when the weather cools down, I layer them underneath my favorite sweaters.

Jeep Compass Carolina Roadtrip

Sometimes as a blogger, you get unique and totally out of the box experiences and last Friday was just that! I had the opportunity to roadtrip to Charlotte Motor Speedway in this 2018 Jeep Compass Limited for the Charlotte Auto Fair. There, I got to trade in this particular Jeep for it’s off-road counterpart, the Trailhawk, and take it on the mobile mountain course. Talk about exhilarating! It took me back to when we’d go mudding in college. If only we had a Jeep Compass Trailhawk back then – would have saved us many a night spent towing out our old trucks!

But nothing like being at the fair to make me ready to break out this dress. It’s the perfect combination of Stevie Nicks meets the Sanderson Sisters and if that doesn’t scream fall chic, I don’t know what will! (LOL) Not only this wrap dress be worn as you see here, it can be unwrapped to create the most gorgeous duster!
