Hi guys! I accidentally took MLK Day off… It was my fiance’s birthday yesterday and we celebrated all weekend long. Maybe a little too hard for my Ideal Protein diet to withstand (my coach is gonna be so ashamed!!) But I am back with one of my favorite looks, mainly because it is so simple to achieve. Whenever anyone asks me how to look pulled together without all the time and effort, I always suggest a sweater dress and boots. I typically pair the dress with these boots, but wanted to take these pink pretties for a spin.
If you can’t tell lately, I am crushing hard on blush. It is just so soft and feminine throughout the winter and spring. I just received these blush tennis shoes and am obsessed. The gold and croc-embossed details are swoon worthy! I think I may love them even more than the rose gold version. I will definitely be swapping out these pink Hunter Boots for those tennis shoes when the sun is out.
There are under five months to go until our wedding and I am finally buckling down on many of the details. We have secured a venue, officiant, caterer, and dress but I was ready to get all jacked up as they say! This meant stopping by David’s Bridal and taking part in their Meet the Stylist program. I spent Monday afternoon at the Asheville David’s Bridal and let my stylist Shawnte find me the perfect accessories so I can feel my best on our big day!
Shawnte was such a pleasure to meet and made me feel comfortable and confident right away. I showed her a picture of my dress and explained what look I was hoping to achieve and what accessories I needed. She then started from the ground up – undergarments. Shawnte strapped me in to a waist shaper and slip and no kidding, every dress fit like a glove after that! She grabbed me a few dresses to play around in and we got started.
I have fallen HARD for the color blush. As a pink lady through and through, I dial it back in the winter time to beautiful blush to satisfy all my girly needs. There are soooo many products I have been waiting to pull the trigger on and thought I’d get y’all lusting after them too 😉
I just received the dress below to wear to my rehearsal dinner and it is even prettier in person. The skirt is so full – I feel like a child pageant star in the best way possible! lol Y’all have seen me wear those pink Hunter boots a million times recently, but I get a lot of questions on the color name. It is pink sand for when you’re searching. The Jack Rogers duck boots are on their way; I’ll shoot them as soon as I receive them (but if you go ahead and order, be sure to size down).
As for the rest, I’ll do my best to practice self control but it is all but impossible with this gorgeous hue!
