Olive Maxi Dress

Dress: Nordstrom (regular neckline version in more colors here) / Jacket: Nordstrom / Sandals: Sam Edelman / Clutch: Stacy Brown Designs / Bracelets: Loren Hope, Alex & Ani / Necklace: Kendra Scott / Monogram: Etsy

The easier and comfier the fashion, the better for me. That’s why when I saw this maxi dress, I knew it had to be mine. I love this olive color for fall and the high neckline is just an added bonus. I throw a denim jacket over it for chilly restaurants and movie theaters. If you are loving this deep green like I am, check out this off-the-shoulder sweater dress, this tunic, and this open-front cardigan.

There was actually a chill in the air yesterday and it was dark when I woke up at my regular time this morning… just another couple reminders that the first day of fall is tomorrow. It has really made me want to take advantage of my little porch. It faces west, so afternoons in the summer are hot, direct sunlight. But now I hoping to give it a little facelift with comfy seating and start spending an hour a day reading out there. Any book suggestions?

I am a horror film junkie as well, so I like my books to be a little scary or thrilling!! I just finished In A Dark, Dark Wood by Ruth Ware and it was AWESOME!! I am looking forward to reading The Girl in Cabin 10 by her as well. Also, The Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll, Don’t You Cry and Pretty Baby both by Mary Kubica and Missing Pieces by Heather Gudenkauf are all VERY VERY good!! Happy fall AND happy reading!!
