Happy Monday! I have quite a few things to be excited about today, namely, being alive. Jeremy and I took his parents sky diving yesterday and while I felt a little more confident in my survival this time, I guess the fear of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane never really goes away. (See video of my first jump/proposal HERE) I couldn’t believe how confident my in-laws were – no fear! They’re total badasses. You can check out a couple of photos HERE.
Buttttt, I am ALSO excited to share my first styled outfit from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and probably my favorite look. I didn’t realize how much I would love these blush pleated shorts until I tried them on and oh em gee are they flattering! I am wearing a size small, btw. Pockets are always a must-have and the flare to the shorts really slims my legs. Not to mention the GORG color. I LOVE how much blush pink and gray was included in the sale. I have a feeling they will be the colors of Fall and I ain’t mad about it!
I paired the shorts with my favorite $31 gray cardigan and MAJORLY discounted Tory Burch tote from the Nordstrom Sale. I have been styling these pieces with just about everything! These colors are just perfect neutrals and easy to wear now and once it gets chillier outside. But if you love this cardigan as much as me, I’d move fast! It is selling out quick!
