Jeep Compass Carolina Roadtrip

Sometimes as a blogger, you get unique and totally out of the box experiences and last Friday was just that! I had the opportunity to roadtrip to Charlotte Motor Speedway in this 2018 Jeep Compass Limited for the Charlotte Auto Fair. There, I got to trade in this particular Jeep for it’s off-road counterpart, the Trailhawk, and take it on the mobile mountain course. Talk about exhilarating! It took me back to when we’d go mudding in college. If only we had a Jeep Compass Trailhawk back then – would have saved us many a night spent towing out our old trucks!

But nothing like being at the fair to make me ready to break out this dress. It’s the perfect combination of Stevie Nicks meets the Sanderson Sisters and if that doesn’t scream fall chic, I don’t know what will! (LOL) Not only this wrap dress be worn as you see here, it can be unwrapped to create the most gorgeous duster!

Now that I live in South Carolina, it’s rare I get back to North Carolina, so I spent the day zipping around in the Compass to all of my old stomping grounds. I popped over to Southpark Mall, Chicken Salad Chick, downtown Kannapolis to snap some photos, and even Lake Norman. It was such a pleasure to experience all the upgrades like Uconnect Systems, which made the touchscreen virtually identical to my iPhone. I even caught some rays beneath the enormous sunroof!
