Hey guys! Winter is here… yippee! And lucky me, I’m one of the people terrified of it. My totally irrational fear spawned a few years back. You see, I take two-lane roads almost entirely to work each day before the sun rises. It was a pretty cold morning following a bit of rain the night before. I started to call someone to ask what black ice looks like (I’ve never claimed to be anything other than blonde), but deduced for myself that *duh* you can’t see it. It was about this time that I hit a patch of it and did donuts through the grass, totally re-landscaping someone’s front yard. I was safe, thank goodness, but since then, I won’t drive in snow or ice.

Which leads me to today… Why yes, I’m about to stock up on necessities and bunker down. I know northerners think I’m crazy, but they will be thankful I’m off the roads. I just wanted to pop in to share these recent looks that I haven’t posted here on the blog 🙂 Y’all stay warm and safe this weekend!
