Come get ready with me, y’all! With a handful of girls’ trips on the horizon, I thought I would share some must-haves for getting glammed up. I don’t know about y’all, but getting ready with friends is just as fun as hitting the bars with them. It’s when we get to catch up and share things that we dare not mention in front of our beaus. And while a pop of gloss, some Lil Wayne, and a Four Loko was all I needed in my twenties, my tastes have matured a bit in my thirties.

Since rushing is a top pet peeve when I have a night out planned, I make sure to set some time aside to really perfect my look. I tend to pop a bottle of rosé, relax in a bath, then turn on a favorite podcast and put my face on. Read on to find out all the products I use!

Rotari Rosé

No pregame at the Clements’ house is complete without a glass of sparkling wine, but finding a tried and true rosé has proven difficult in the past – many are too sweet, too dry, or too darn expensive. Luckily, Rotari’s Rosé is becoming a fast favorite! Made with a combination of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, this sparkling wine is seriously affordable luxury at under $20 a bottle. Rotari’s wines are aged in steel, then processed according to metodo classico on the lees in bottle for at least 24 months. The result is an aroma of red fruit complex (blackberry, cherry, & raspberry), with white fruit and pineapple. Long story short – the PERFECT rosé! Click HERE to find your local retailer.

No-Fail Lip Combo

I have finally found the perfect peachy nude lip combo for my skin tone. I line my lips with Tarte Tartiest Lip Crayon in Boho, followed by Charlotte Tilbury’s’ lipstick in Bitch Perfect, and finally top it off with Urban Decay’s Hi-Fi Shine Gloss in Midnight Cowgirl. My lips are prone to peeling (thanks allergies) so it’s been a struggle finding a lip product that doesn’t dry them out or flake off throughout the day. Luckily, this combination is long lasting and hydrating.

Favorite Podcast

While most people play an upbeat playlist when getting ready, I almost always play a podcast. I AM ADDICTED. Depending on my mood, I either go for a true crime or a comedy podcast. I’ve mentioned it before, but my hands-down FAVORITE podcast is Sword & Scale. I have listened to all 120 episodes and let out an audible cheer whenever a new one is posted. (I love you, Mike Boudet!) A warning to the faint of heart – many episodes tend to be a bit graphic so be sure to read the descriptions before diving in.

But if true crime isn’t what gets you pepped up for a night on the town, you’ll love How Did This Get Made. It is HILARIOUS! The premise is three comedians get together and break down Hollywood’s worst movies. Start with the live episodes – they are laugh out loud funny.

Hair Tools

Since I have been rocking tape-in extensions for almost three years now, I’ve needed to upgrade my hair tools. With all this hair, I was in serious need of a bit more heat. Luckily, T3 has come to the rescue with amazingly high quality tools that create long-lasting curls. Y’all may have seen these sleek, white tools all over Instagram and think they must be too good to be true. But honestly, they are worth every penny. I have been using the same T3 curling wand, straightener, and blow dryer for years now.

What’s unique about their curling wand is that you purchase a convertible base and then can pick from a wide array of barrels to meet your specific hair needs. I almost always opt for the 1.5in flipperless barrel to get soft, beachy waves.

The Perfect Fragrance

I can’t leave the house without a spritz of one of my go-to scents. With Fall right around the corner, I tend to lean towards sweeter fragrances with vanilla notes. My hands-down favorite fragrance is Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb Nectar. It’s sweeter than the classic Flowerbomb and seems to last longer. But for a more price-friendly option, I have also been loving Philosophy’s Warm Cashmere. The $40 price tag is a steal for a perfect Fall fragrance.

Thank you to Rotari Wine for sponsoring this post. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
