SHOP THE POST:
Hi, y’all! Can you believe that the Fourth of July is two weeks away?! I seriously can’t believe how fast June flew by. But I am counting down the days because we are headed to Daytona Beach for the NASCAR race (of course), but also an extended stay at my all-time FAVORITE hotel, Tropical Manor. Y’all may have seen the posts I have done on this retro hotel in the past including THIS and THIS. I am seriously OBSESSED. And as I prep for this trip I am, of course, doing some shopping and I wanted y’all to join me.
Aside from Easter, the Fourth of July is my favorite holiday to dress for. I love red, white, and blue almost as much as I love America. (Side note… I recently found out that I’m a daughter of the American Revolution so this holiday is extra special this year!) So I thought I would round up some of my most recent Americana outfits to make it easy for you to get your look ready so you can focus on how you’re gonna celebrate!
I must start with saying that it doesn’t get more classic on the Fourth of July than a good pair of high-waisted denim. I have paired mine with everything from swimsuits (for hot summer days) to pullovers (for chillier nights). So if you choose to invest in one thing from this post, make it that!
T-Shirt: Blaine Bowen c/o (Use code CORT15 for 15% off your order) | Denim Shorts: AGOLDE | Bandana: WalMart | Sandals: Tory Burch
How fun is this cheeky tee from Blaine Bowen?! Beer and explosives… what else do you need for a good Independence Day celebration? Keep in mind that the sizing on this tee is unisex so I sized down to a small for a perfect fit!
Speaking of cheeky, I couldn’t get enough of this little popsicle pullover. I run cold by nature and always pack a sweatshirt on lake days so I’m able to stay comfy when the sun goes down. It runs TTS and I’m wearing a size medium.
Top: Nordstrom Rack | Shorts: Zara | Wedges: Nordstrom | Bag: SheIn c/o | Sunglasses: Karen Walker | Earrings: Deepa Gurnani | Hat: Brixton
Thoughout the Summer months, you’re more than likely to find a popsicle or a sparkler in my hand. And I HAVE to tell y’all about buying fireworks the other day – Did you know (and maybe this is just South Carolina) that not only do you have to show ID to purchase, but you have to sign a waiver stating you aren’t on the terrorist watch list?! I was like… would you know?! LOL.
This little mini dress is a favorite silhouette of mine! ASOS has brought it back time and time again in a number of colors, but this blue and dalmatian-print was calling my name! It runs TTS and I’m wearing a US6.
Swimsuit: Michael Kors | Denim Shorts: AGOLDE | Necklace: I Love Jewelry c/o | Scarf: Zara | Bag: Mud Pie c/o | Sunglasses: J.Crew
Calling all one-piece lovers! This under $100 swimmie is about as flattering as it gets! There is padding in this top and it’s lined throughout so there’s no chance of it becoming see-through. And you don’t want to miss shopping this $40 beach tote. The colors or stunning and it’s the PERFECT size!
While this dress looks positively adorable from the front, you will DIE when you see the back! It is low and surrounded by hot pink tassles. Be still my heart. And if that isn’t enough to convince you, it is only $25! Whaaaa…. I always order size medium from SheIn and it fits like a glove 🙂
Of course I can’t get through an outfit roundup without a maxi dress. They are my jam. I have short legs and a long torso, so I tend to gravitate towards this style because I feel that it makes my body look much more proportionate and flattering. The only downside to this stunner is that it is selling out FAST. Like, real fast. So if you love it (like me!) shop it QUICK!
Dress: Shein c/o | Wedges: H&M | Bag: Clare V. (Dupe HERE) | Scarf: H&M | Sunglasses: J.Crew | Hat: Brixton
Why yes… another SheIn dress. They have honestly been killing the game lately with all their cute looks. I’m wearing a medium in this of-the-shoulder gingham dress, but can we talk about these wedges?! They are on MAJOR SALE right now – I’m talking $25! I can’t resist a bow, so I think I might go back for the navy version too!

That dress is really cute. And my gf loves high-waisted denim, so I’ll have to surprise her with a pair soon!
That’s such a stylish summer look. The high waisted jeans are especially cute.
I am loving all of these looks! High waisted jeans and a good crop top are my summer outfit go to’s!
High waisted demin is my favorite, I have so many pairs of shorts and pants. I’m also super obsessed with that white MK swimsuit! Thanks for the outfit inspiration, really dig it!
High-waisted denim jeans are my favorite. Gna treat myself to a pair from Good American soon!!
LOL at the fireworks story. That’s ridiculous. On a more reasonable note, denim does seem to fit 4th of july more than anything else! Looking great.
Wow, the l flowy light blue gingham dress! Perfect for 4th July!
I love the little hair scarf accessory. It’s a real subtle way to add something to a look, but it also really stands out at the same time. Cute!
Red, white, and blue is always an amazing color combo, and when you mix in the 4th, it’s even better! High waisted denim jeans or shorts is always a go to for me with a cropped top!
All of these looks are so cute! And I love the red lip to really help them pop, without being too much!! XOXO
High waisted jeans are so classic, and the same goes for shorts! So versatile you could wear them with anything and still look patriotic =) Happy 4th!
Love the looks! High waisted jeans and shorts pair well with everything
The 4th of July is my favorite holiday as well. Something about wearing clothes that are decorated in the Red, White, and Blue makes you feel proud! Your outfits are a great example!
All these outfits look amazing! The 4th July is a day where you want to specially dress with the colors of our flag 🙂
Love these outfits! All such cute and American looks. The highwasited shorts look too good and really make the outfits. Can’t wait to get some for myself when the weather gets warmer
