Confession: my life is a lie. So often on this blog, I post looks in heels, full hair and make-up, etc. And while I love dressing up, I much prefer leggings and a pullover when it gets chilly outside. Since these outfits are what I wear most commonly throughout the fall, they are the pieces I invest most heavily in. They are also the things that will more-than-likely sell out in the coming months, so if you love something, be sure to grab it now! Read on for sizing and reviews of all of my fall staples.

1. Southern Marsh Pullover with Red Hunter Rainboots

From the moment I put this fuzzy Southern Marsh sweatshirt on, I knew it was going to be a favorite. It is SO stinkin’ soft and warm and is my go-to when I am just lounging around my apartment. Since it is a unisex sweatshirt, the sizing runs substantially large. I am wearing a size small for some extra length (I’m long waisted). But an extra small would have fit as well! It also comes in quite a few color options. I’m wearing the burnt taupe with white version, but it is a true gray. I loved the red piping since red is my favorite accent color throughout the fall and winter.

These Hunter rainboots come in such handy throughout fall as we spend a lot of time outdoors… fairs, haunted houses, dirt tracks, etc. While I still have my eye on the pink, the classic red will always be my first love. Before you purchase a pair, be sure to read this article on sizing!

2. Collegiate Sweatshirt and J.Crew Herringbone Vest

If living in collegiate apparel past the age of 22 is wrong, I don’t want to be right! If you catch me out running errands, hitting the gym, or cozying up on the couch, I am bound to be doing it in an Auburn shirt. Honestly, they get softer and comfier with age! And regardless of who you cheer for, a comfy collegiate sweatshirt is the perfect addition to your fall wardrobe. I wear it with big thick socks when lounging and throw on this J.Crew Factory herringbone vest when heading out. It’s on sale for $54!

Side note: For those of y’all curious about clip-ins versus tape-in hair extensions, I’m wearing Bellami Boogati clip-ins with this look and Hot Heads tape-in extensions with the other two looks. They honestly don’t look too different, tape-ins are just much easier to blend into my hair. I felt like the clips of my clip-ins were hard to hide. Plus tape-ins are much more blendable when your hair is straight.

3. Patagonia Pullover with L.L. Bean Boots

I know, I know… two gray pullovers is a little overkill. In my defense, my closet was severely lacking in gray and I think it looks so nice paired with black leggings (i.e. my lazy-girl uniform). I have had the Patagonia Re-Tool Snap-T pullover since college, but I just love how streamlined the Patagonia Better Sweater 1/4-Zip Fleece is. I would definitely say it is my favorite!

As for the L.L. Bean boots… Y’ALL. They are currently available, no backorder or anything! Believe me when I say this rarely ever happens. They sell out year after year, so if you want them in time for the cold weather, not is the time to grab them. Just be sure to size down, they run a little large.

Another side note: How sick are y’all of seeing this Louis Vuitton Neverfull? I am constantly carrying it because it honestly is the perfect bag when it comes to size and quality. But I just received this crossbody bag today and can’t wait to style it!
