Soooo much to chat about today, y’all! So grab a glass of wine and get ready… First off, there are only a handful of days left in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. For some of you guys, that might be awesome because you’re beyond sick of bloggers cramming it down your throat. For others like me, I keep discovering new pieces that are such a steal! My favorite purchases from the #NSale have actually happened in the last week if you can believe it. Namely, these AG boyfriend jeans.
I’ve been a long time fan of AG denim, but have steered clear of boyfriend jeans because I figured they would make my already large calves look even larger. Boy, was I wrong! The relaxed fit actually hides my calves and downplays my problem areas, whereas skinny jeans tend to accentuate them. As long as you size down one size (I’m wearing a size 26), these jeans have the perfect amount of slouchiness without looking sloppy. Plus, they are $75 off until Sunday. If you can’t tell, I am so excited about them!
I love pairing distressed denim with a glam top and J.Crew just dropped the mic with this AMAZING embellished peplum top. The embellishment is just enough that it can be dressed up or down without being overwhelming. And the peplum cut creates a feminine silhouette that might otherwise have been hidden beneath the boyfriend jeans. I might be in love…
