Girls’ Weekend in Charleston

I recently returned from a trip to Charleston with my blogger besties Kelssey and Sara and I wanted to share all of the details from our trip. Charleston is my favorite city in the Southeast to visit, not only because of how drop-dead gorgeous it is, but because of how many things there are to see, do, and eat!

Charleston really is a city for everyone: the foodie, the romantic, the ghost-hunter, the thrill seeker, the party animal, the beach bum, or the history buff! You name it and you can create a weekend around it in Charleston. In the past I have shared my bachelorette weekend here and a romantic weekend with the hubs, but now I wanted to chat all about a girls’ roadtrip weekend.

I am back with another peek into a day of our honeymoon! I mentioned before that we took a Mediterranean cruise, Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas to be specific, so I wanted to share how we spent our port day in Santorini for anyone cruising to the beautiful island soon. I have to begin by stating the obvious – one day isn’t anywhere near enough time to see ALL that Santorini has to offer, but if you want a quick highlight reel then here we go!

We just got home from our honeymoon and it’s hard to believe that this whirlwind is finally over. Cruising through Italy and the Greek Islands was an amazing way to see as much as you can in a nine-day period and determine your favorites to (hopefully) get to spend more time at in the future.

The number one question we’ve received since returning is what location was our favorite of the trip and we unanimously agree that it was Mykonos. Not only is it heart-wrenchingly beautiful, it is so much fun! And while we would love to spend much more time here, I wanted to share how we spent the day on the island for anyone who is cruising here in the future.
