I used to live and die by old Southern traditions and while I continue to practice quite a few, not wearing white after Labor Day is about impossible for me. It is my favorite neutral (besides leopard, of course), but I have f0und ways to update the color for fall by incorporating subdued tones like below and here, for example. I just through this gorgeous white sweater in my shopping cart thanks to a $20 off sale and am about to pull the trigger on it, too!
This longline camel cardiganhas been my go-to piece for transitioning any summer clothes like tanks and sundresses. I had been looking everywhere for a camel cardigan after the B.P. version from the NSale sold out so quickly and found this one at Old Navy (it comes in three colors). For under $40, it just adds a chic touch to your outfits.
Nothing like a short week… I cannot believe tomorrow is Friday. Where has the time gone? And I am EXTRA excited because I am getting extensions installed tomorrow (I’m wearing Bellami clip-in extensions in this post). It is my first time trying them, but I will be sure to document the process on Snapchat @CortDryden. I can’t wait to see how they turn out. I am also getting my hair color corrected and my roots covered because (GASP!) I am getting gray hair! Apparently my dad went gray early too, but lordy I’m only 28!
Back to the fashion… off the shoulder tops don’t look like they’re slowing up just because summer is winding down. Now I am not trying to run summer off early, I get it people, fall doesn’t officially start until September 22nd. But I received an invite to a haunted house today, so fall can’t get here soon enough! 😉 The trick to extending the life of your favorite OTS tops is making sure to wear a neutral color palate. A few ones I am LOVING are this, this, and this.
Call me a voyeur but I love watching other people’s What’s In My Bag videos, so I thought I’d do one myself! The bag I carry the most often is the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM. It is the perfect size for every day use and I can’t say enough good things about it. If you are wanting to invest in a designer bag, this would be the one I would recommend for you. You can read my full review on it here.
Since the Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM is a larger bag, I am able to carry my whole life in it. It is never totally clean, but for the purpose of this post I spared y’all all the receipts and gum wrappers that accumulate throughout the day! Scroll down for everything I have in my bag.
