Blush Crush

Crispin Drop Earrings: BaubleBar / Duck Boots: Jack Rogers / Tassel Scarf: Free People / Shoulder Bag: Chloe / Velvet Sandals: Steve Madden / Sunglasses: Nordstrom / Spike Earrings: Kendra Scott / Ring: Kendra Scott / Tennis Shoes: Nike / Rain Boots: Hunter / Pom Beanie: TopShop / Dress: ASOS

I have fallen HARD for the color blush. As a pink lady through and through, I dial it back in the winter time to beautiful blush to satisfy all my girly needs. There are soooo many products I have been waiting to pull the trigger on and thought I’d get y’all lusting after them too 😉

I just received the dress below to wear to my rehearsal dinner and it is even prettier in person. The skirt is so full – I feel like a child pageant star in the best way possible! lol Y’all have seen me wear those pink Hunter boots a million times recently, but I get a lot of questions on the color name. It is pink sand for when you’re searching. The Jack Rogers duck boots are on their way; I’ll shoot them as soon as I receive them (but if you go ahead and order, be sure to size down).

As for the rest, I’ll do my best to practice self control but it is all but impossible with this gorgeous hue!

What to Know Before Buying UGG Boots

UGG Boots: Kicks USA c/o / Sweater: Michael Kors / Beanie: J.Crew Factory / Jeans: ShopBop / Monogram Necklace: BaubleBar / Bag: Louis Vuitton

Happy Monday! I hope y’all are staying warm out there. We were snowed in over the weekend, but I braved the roads (they were fine, I’m just a chicken) to get to work today. But I must rave to y’all about the shoes that have made all this snow bearable. I recently got my hands on a pair of Classic Tall UGG Boots and have been wearing them non-stop since. They have been perfect for this chilly weather and I’m not sure how I ever lived without them.

UGG Boots are so popular this time of year that it is tricky to find a wide selection in stores, forcing you to give your best guess on what style/size to order online. Read on while I walk you through everything you need to know before purchasing UGG Boots.

Best Purchases of 2016

2017 is upon us and I, for one, am ready for it! I know a lot of people poo pooed on 2016, but it was one of the best years of my life. I got engaged to the love of my life, took some amazing trips – Jamaica, Cozumel, Spain, Big Sur, Blowing Rock, Charleston, San Fransisco, Disney World, Beaufort, Asheville, and more! I went sky diving for the first time, climbed a waterfall, played with baby tigers, got to see my man post the most top-10 finishes of his career, and all the while got to grow this blog that is such a passion of mine! I want to thank y’all so much for stopping by my corner of the web and continue to follow along, it means so much to me 🙂

As a HUGE proponent of investing in classic pieces and saving money on trends, I wanted to share with y’all my favorite purchases of 2016 – these are items I wore/used regularly throughout 2016 and will throughout 2017 and beyond. Just click on the title of each piece to shop! I’ll follow up with the items I have my eye on for 2017 next week.

How to Style Duck Boots

Boots: Payless c/o / Socks: L.L. Bean / Jeans: ShopBop / Plaid Button-Down: BlankNYC / Vest: Penfield / Sweatshirt: Old (Love this & this) / Bag: Louis Vuitton

Happy New Year! I hope y’all had a fun night celebrating and have a couple days off for recovery time 😉 I am excited to kick off 2017 with a casual look that you can replicate on a budget. When it comes to everyday life in the Fall or Winter, chances are I am wearing my duck boots, Hunter boots, or tennis shoes. These less-dressy looks are my favorite to share on the blog. And while there are a million ways to style duck boots or bean boots, pairing them with jeans and layers is my go to!

I scored these comfy duck boots at Payless for only $25, which is awesome because I can get them dirty and don’t have to worry! I always rock these boots with a pair of camp socks to stay warm and cozy – I scored this two-pack at L.L. Bean. I slip the socks over my skinniest skinny jeans and then bundle up on top. I recently wore this exact look (plus a parka) on a chilly fishing trip and stayed warm all day long!
