Happy Tuesday, friends! Does anyone else need a vacation from their vacation? We spent Friday and Saturday in Darlington for the NASCAR race (shop my raceday outfit HERE). Then, my parents spent Sunday and Monday with us and Jeremy’s family had another victory celebration for him at the lake. Phew! When my parents left today, I (no joke) took a four-hour nap. It felt AMAZING!
But it’s time to get back to the grind because it is a SUPER short work week for me. My best friend and MOH is turning 30, so I am driving up to Washington, D.C. on Thursday for the weekend to celebrate with a group of our friends. I am SO excited! Plus, the weather is really going to feel like Fall there, with highs in the low 70’s and lows in the mid 50’s. Yay for finally getting to wear some of my transitional looks without pouring sweat, like THESE perfect taupe booties.
If you have any suggestions of what we need to see, please leave them in the comments. I have been a couple times before, but have never been sight seeing and am looking forward to exploring.
TGIF, loves! After such a crazy week, I am beyond thrilled that we have a three-day weekend… yippee! Do y’all have any big plans? We are headed to Darlington for the NASCAR race and then my parents are coming up Sunday to spend some time with us. On top of all this, you bet your butt I am shopping these AMAZING Labor Day sales! Here are my favorites:
What a weekend, y’all! My husband WON his first NASCAR XFINITY Series race! AHHH! It has been all so overwhelming so I apologize for the lack of consistency to my posts this week. It instead has been filled with celebrations, tears, interviews, visitors, cake, wine, and more. I share mostly fashion here, but I will be breaking down this historic weekend with y’all soon. It’s still hard to wrap my head around it 🙂
I caught a quick break when Jeremy went to co-host the local radio station this morning, so I thought I would share one of my favorite trends with y’all, dusters. If you are like me, you own a ton of denim and basic tops: tanks, tees, etc. I just LOVE how easy it is to throw on a duster or kimono to completely elevate your look! And the best part is how affordable they are. I rounded up some dusters I have in my shopping cart (how many is too many?!) above, but scroll down to see my hands-down favorite duster. The color is just perfect for fall!
