I am loving this fun outfit that I wore last week before it got so chilly around here again! This yellow is so flattering, but when I saw the racerback cut on this dress, I knew it had to be mine. What I like most about it is that it can be styled a number of different ways – from a beach cover-up to heading out on a Friday night. So, for all of you girls heading to the beach for Spring break, this is the multi-tasking dress for you!
I always play up these maxis with fun accessories and thank goodness pom poms and tassels are back again this season! And guess what? My favorite jewelry retailer is offering 25% off of EVERYTHING with code WARMUP. That means you can score these adorable earrings for only $28. I get so many compliments on them every time a wear them. Be sure to check back here tomorrow where I’ll round up all of my favorite affordable jewelry.
Happy Friday, y’all! This week SERIOUSLY flew by for me, probably because it has been slam packed. I have been running around like a chicken with its head cut off and am seriously in need of a xanax (kidding!) Like I mentioned, I got a lot of wedding stuff finalized this week – gifts, rehearsal dinner, hair, accessories, and even an outfit for my dog to wear! I also visited a CPA for the first time. Yep, you heard that right. I am 28 and have done my taxes with my dad every year until now. On top of that, this weekend I am shooting some new Spring looks I am SO excited to share with y’all and how about this – it has legit been in the 70s all week EXCEPT for the day I am planning to shoot on. There is snow on the schedule for that day!
Regardless, this look really encompasses this time of year. It’s got light colors and florals for Spring, but still pieces to keep you warm on chilly nights. And I know it’s tough to see my choker, but I literally die for it. Like, I wear it with everything. And you will too since it is only 19$ ! I hope y’all have a wonderful (and warm) weekend, loves!
I’m back from Atlanta and after spending a few days with Jeremy’s and my families, I have been knee-deep in wedding planning. Someone flippantly remarked about it being 10 weeks away and I about panicked. I still don’t have a cake, tuxes, or even a rehearsal dinner venue! Talk about procrastination station over here.
What I do have accomplished is outfits picked out for the bachelorette party and honeymoon, because… priorities. This may be may favorite piece I have packed. It is a bit on the pricier side, but if you own any of Mara Hoffman’s pieces, you know it’s worth it. This is first dress I have ordered of hers, but felt confident taking the plunge after basically living in her swimsuits all summer long. Other than the crisp white fabric and high neckline, what attracted me to this dress was the adjustable slit. There are buttons that run down the length of the dress from the waist to the floor and all you have to do is unbutton however many you’d like depending on how risque you’d like to be that day!
