The countdown is officially on to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2017! I know y’all are probably overwhelmed by the hype of it all, but it’s because it is really that good. Instead of Nordstrom making down old inventory, they release BRAND NEW Fall and Winter pieces on MAJOR sale. I mean, who does that?! And since #NSale success is 90% preparation and 10% perspiration, I wanted to share my top tips for y’all to get the most out of it.
But before we begin, let’s go over a few dates.
July 13: Early Access begins July 21: Sale opens to the public August 7: Prices return to normal
Make a List of Your Must-Haves: Before the sale begins, think of what you need for Fall. For me it’s a pair of boots, booties, a jacket/coat, basic tops, a pair of designer jeans, and a new makeup kit. I know it seems like a lot all at once, but I wind up purchasing these items every Fall and wind up paying FAR more for them because I missed the sale. I keep this list in mind when shopping the sale, so I don’t go crazy buying everything just because it’s a good deal. Buuutttttt…. if you do wind up going a little nutty, have no fear! Nordstrom has an amazeballs return policy so you can return everything you don’t need for free.
Shop Early: Today is IMPORTANT as it is the last day to sign for a Nordstrom debit or credit card. This is a must have if you want early access to the sale and trust me, you do. My Nordstrom credit card is in the mail as we speak, but if that’s too much of a commitment for you, you can get the debit card and it’ll just withdraw from your checking account. Easy peasy! PLUS, if you sign up for either, Nordstrom will give you a $20 Nordstrom Note (i.e. cash money) to shop the sale with. It’s basically a win-win!
Keep Checking Back: Nordstrom is notorious for restocking certain items throughout the sale. Make sure to bookmark your favorite sold out products and check every morning to see if they’ve come back in stock. Chances are they will, especially if they sold out in Early Access.

I am so excited to take y’all around Tropical Manor today, the hotel Jeremy and I stayed in for the Daytona race last week. With all the pink, floral paintings, and palm trees, it’s basically the perfect little place for bloggers. Tropical Manor opened in the 1950’s, but other than a lizard in our bathroom, it was great! I see this stay becoming a bi-yearly Daytona tradition 🙂 I can already hear Jeremy groaning from the girliness of it all (lol).
When I saw this pink striped dress at Red Dress Boutique, I knew it would be perfect to take. This whole outfit is actually all pieces under $100 – gotta love that. The straw sandals are from Target (yep, Target!) and the clutch is a Cult Gaia dupe for only $80. Of course, I had to pom pom and tassel it up with this $22 keychain. It’s so stinkin’ cute! I’ve barely unpacked from Daytona and am already re-packing for Myrtle Beach. I just got the cutest package in the mail with adorable pieces all under $30. I am bringing this, this, and this with me and highly recommend them. Can a girl have too much gingham and palm leaf print?!
