I am kicking Monday off by sharing one of my favorite things, a dress with pockets! Holla! This particular maxi is from Discount Divas. This store is unique in that you shop their Facebook Page by commenting sold on the products you love. Discount Divas, as the name suggests, is extremely affordable! This dress, for instance, is only $28 🙂 I’ll be posting another cute fall-ready style from them on Friday!

I hope y’all had a good weekend. Mine was packed full. We left Thursday for a race in Watkins Glen, New York. I got back Saturday and immediately drove over to my wedding venue to basically crash someone else’s wedding (lol). They were draping the venue in a similar way that I would like and I had to see how it looked! On Sunday, we drove up to Asheville and went hiking and swimming along Hooker Falls in Little River, NC. Phew! I need a weekend after my weekend!

The Monday after a long weekend always sucks a little more than usual and today is no different. I got sucked into Stranger Things on Netflix Saturday night (and waiting up for Jeremy to return for the track) that I screwed my sleeping pattern up for a few days. But rest assured, I’ll be in bed early tonight. Right after running by the mall to grab this new CC cream and this bronzing mousse that people have been raving about!

I wanted to pop in to share this Merritt Clothing look from Shop Impressions. The top is one size fits all which always worries me, but it fits really well (I’m 5’4 and typically a medium in tops). For smaller girls, it hangs off the shoulder which looks super cute! Speaking of cute, a number of y’all asked where the tassel dress was I wore in a couple Instagram snaps and I finally found it here for under $20!

Also, if you were in love with the tan Steve Madden mules that sold out immediately in the Nordstrom Sale, they released a near identical pair on their site here. I just ordered them!

Y’all, I am SO excited to share this dress with you! If you have been following along the past couple of weeks, I am the biggest new VICI fan. This website has the cutest pieces! I have already posted this look and this look, but this popsicle-print dress may be my favorite yet! Not only is the cut flattering… it has pockets! Holla! I also snagged this turquoise tassel necklace from them and get so many compliments on it, plus it comes in four color options.

On another note, I finally caved and purchased this dress in white from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. To be honest, I shopped online and in store and didn’t find much of anything that stood out to me. I guess I’m just not ready to trade out my bright colors for neutrals!

I am back from Indianapolis and am actually staying put here in Charlotte for over a week! One of my favorite parts of getting to work in NASCAR is spending my weekends at the racetrack and even though the temps were near 100 this weekend, Indy is always a fun city to visit. Jeremy and I spent our one night in town at St. Elmo Steakhouse… I just had to try their shrimp cocktail after hearing about it for years. We were all so dehydrated from working in the sun all day that we were feeling the alcohol after one drink and acting a little loopy. Be sure to follow me on Snapchat @CortDryden to follow along on all of these trips.

Not to rush into wedding planning or anything, but I have started researching local venues because the date we have in mind is within a year. I can’t believe how tricky it has been! Almost everything is sold out and everything that’s left are barns which doesn’t fit the style I have in mind (no offense to shabby chic lovers, but I’m from the ATL & can’t pull it off!) I will keep y’all updated on the process, though. Being an only child and only grandchild, I haven’t been to many weddings so this should be interesting!
