TGIF, loves! Jeremy and I just returned from Charleston and I am so excited to share a few looks with you today. If you’ve read here for a while, you know that we’re only a couple hours away from the Holy City, so we try to pop over there once a month or so… whatever fits both of our schedules. And as the weather heats up, no trip to Charleston is complete without a day at Sullivan’s Island. This beach is so tranquil and undeveloped – it seriously is my happy place. My tip: put Sullivan’s Island Lighthouse or The Charleston Light into your GPS and head out to the beach via the boardwalk 🙂

When it comes to packing for a Charleston getaway, you’ll naturally need dressier pieces for nights out on King Street, but always remember to pack some casual looks for beach days. My go-to brand lately has been The Southern Shirt Company. Y’all may be surprised to know that away from the blog, I am a t-shirt and shorts kind of girl but that doesn’t mean that I’m not getting my daily dose of pink in my wardrobe.

Happy Monday, y’all! I hope you had a great weekend. I had mine and Jeremy’s parents over for Mother’s Day and then celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary yesterday. This has seriously been the fastest year of my life! I guess time flies when you’re having fun 🙂 But speaking of weddings and any events you have coming up this Summer, I have found THE maxi dress for you.

If y’all haven’t heard of Mud Pie before, then I am beyond excited to introduce them to you. For years, they were my destination for cute gifts for all different occasions. My friend Nicole even got me the most adorable wine glass from them for my 30th birthday celebration. But they have now introduced a line of clothes and accessories that may even outshine their gifts! I already shared this lake-day look, but today is all about getting glammed up.

It’s the first day of May, y’all! Can you believe it? And if you’re like me, you’ve been on the hunt for the perfect outfit to pair with your margarita. I mean who doesn’t love a holiday that revolves around tequila? Luckily, there is still time to snag a look for Cinco de Mayo and get it in time for the holiday. I went with this adorable embroidered dress from Buddy Love. The details won me over and all I need now is a sombrero to match!

If you’re more of a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, Buddy Love has the best graphic tees for Cinco de Mayo like this colorful Tacos & Tequilas tank and this Queso Queen tee. But if you’re looking to splurge on the cutest off-the-shoulder dress, this striped mini is my favorite!
