Sequins! I couldn’t get enough of them during the holiday season. And I am not about to banish them to the back of my closet until next year. Cable knit sweaters, graphic tees, and flannel are their perfect pairing for a casual-glam look. It says I’m formal, but I’m here to party.

We had a random warm day in Charlotte recently and I couldn’t help throwing on some open-toed shoes. It’s back to rain again, which I would normally complain about, but I finally found the perfect pair of red Hunter rain boots that I’m excited to break in. And let me tell you, it wasn’t an easy process. I could write a thesis on Hunters for short people… and I will. Stay tuned.

It’s official. I have a coat buying addiction. And I can’t even justify it anymore because we are on the downside of winter. Now I’m not saying it’s time to run out and buy a bikini, but Hercules has passed and it’s going to be in the 60s this weekend. The best part about a blog though is I don’t have to wear just one! So it’s up to y’all… mixed media or faux fur?

And on a side note… if anyone watches the show Banshee, this backdrop may look familiar 😉

Feeling Blue

I am wearing my navy blue proudly today. Last night was the end to an unbelievable football season for my Auburn Tigers. We went from not making a bowl game last season, to making the grandaddy of them all this season and I am so proud of my alma mater. But, alas, the college football season is over and it’s now time to focus on the impending NASCAR season. Only 47 days until the Daytona 500!
