I had been on a mad hunt for a sequined maxi to wear for New Year’s Eve and was bummed by the sky-high prices on all of them. Luckily for me I stumbled across this affordable version from Daily Look and was sold! Now that the holidays are behind us, I am pairing it with a sweater to keep the look more casual.
Now, time for chaos and pandemonium to sweep the roadways (i.e. me) because we have snow coming any minute! Y’all stay warm!
Happy Friday! Doesn’t this outfit just scream Valentine’s Day? That pesky little holiday is starting to sneak up on us. But first things first, it’s Kevin’s birthday this Saturday so we are heading to the mountains and hoping to see snow! We rented a cabin near Boone and I’m looking so forward to relaxing.
I packed up this outfit to stay warm and cozy, but I don’t think any amount of layers will protect me from a low of 3 degrees tonight! When it comes to packing for cold-weather destinations, I am the world’s worst. If it’s a road trip, I just throw everything I own into my truck. If I am flying, then it’s a miracle if they let me carry-on (they never do). Regardless, I always wind up freezing my booty off! Anyone else have this problem?
HiOh! Some version of this look is my everyday uniform: jeans, tee, and a jacket. And I don’t have pants in my closet comfier than these boyfriend jeans. For anyone a little hesitant about trying boyfriend jeans, the trick is to size down, cuff them twice, and always wear heels with them to prevent the dreaded frump. #shortgirlproblems
I have exciting news if you live in the Charlotte area! I will be hosting a cocktail/shopping party at Tash Boutique this Wednesday night from 6:00-8:00pm. I’ll be leading a DIY session, sipping champagne, and helping ladies look their best… which isn’t hard considering Tash’s selection. And the whole store will be on sale! You can find all of the info here. Hope to see you out!
