Cozy Travel Outfit

Monogrammed Pullover: United Monograms c/o / Tote: United Monograms c/o / Leggings: Old Navy / Book: Emily Ley c/o / Marble Headphones: Ankit c/o / Tennis Shoes: Nike

I road-tripped to the mountains last weekend and wore this comfy outfit. We hopped out of the car and shot a few pictures of it to share with y’all because this is exactly what I wear regardless of whether I’m traveling by car or plane. Comfiness and warmth are MUSTS when I travel and this monogram pullover fit the bill. I ordered it in medium for an oversized look.

This monogrammed tote makes the perfect travel bag! It is so roomy and easily fits my travel essentials like these marble headphones, this marble cellphone charger, and Emily Ley’s new book Grace not Perfection (did I mention I am avid self-help book reader?!) I throw a hat in their for the driver/flight home because I am always looking a little extra rough after a trip and you can’t just throw your hair in a ponytail with extensions.

Blowing Rock Engagement Photos

Top: J.Crew / Vest: J.Crew / Skirt: J.Crew / Boots: Hunter / Necklace: J.Crew / Watch: Michael Kors

I am so excited to share our engagement photos with y’all. I love how they turned out! The Glitter Lens has such an amazing way of capturing and besting exactly what I have in my head. I am so excited that she is also shooting our wedding. If you live in Charlotte, N.C. or the surrounding areas, Alison was fabulous enough to offer a coupon code to my readers! Use code CORTINSESSION to get 10% off of your wedding package at

With 190 days to go until our wedding, I feel like things are finally starting to fall into place. We ordered the Save the Date cards that feature one of the photos below… can you guess which? I will share those as soon as they are printed 🙂

So Long, Halloween Season

Top: LOFT / Jeans: Red Dress Boutique c/o / Booties: Steve Madden / Bag: Rebecca Minkoff / Bracelets: Loren Hope, Alex & Ani / Watch: Michael Kors

I hate to say goodbye to one of my favorite holidays, but it’s time to usher in a new season and I, for one, and ready to get in the Christmas spirit! I know it’s still early, but the mint chip milkshakes at Chick fil a can’t get here soon enough. I wanted to share one last look from the pumpkin patch, before all of the gourds are replaced with evergreen trees.

This top is perfect all fall and winter long. It is tunic length which makes it great for layering, plus it comes in three colors. Also, today is the last day of the ShopBop Surprise Sale. Check out this post for my picks!
