The $22 Shirt Dress You NEED

Dress: Old Navy (40% off today) | Vest: J.Crew Factory | Boots: Goodnight Macaroon c/o | Clutch: Clare V. | Necklace: J.Crew | Sunglasses: Karen Walker

Can you believe that Thanksgiving week is here? I’m weirdly ready for it this year! I spent much of the weekend venturing to and from Hobby Lobby and decorating our house for the holidays; all while watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Krampus. A few of you were asking where the small flocked pink Christmas trees I shared on Instagram were from and here is the link. I also got a 4.5′ tree and these champagne diamond ornaments for it. If you haven’t been by Hobby Lobby yet, prepare for a busy store! They are offering 50% off all Christmas decor which is an amazing deal, but apparently everyone got the memo!

This week is so exciting to me for a number of reasons. Most obviously is that I get to spend time with my family. It’s Jeremy and my first Thanksgiving as a married couple, so we have a few dinners we’re have to cram in to one day. Secondly, it’s Rivalry Week in college football! My alma mater has a HUGE game on Saturday that determines whether we’ll head to the conference championship. It’s Monday and I’m already nervous. And finally, I am one of those crazies that heads out Black Friday shopping after Thanksgiving dinner. I don’t have anything in particular on my list, more so I enjoy the people watching.

One of the craziest stores every Black Friday is Old Navy – I’m talking long lines, clothes strewn about, and mega deals. It really is a sight to behold! It’s like folks don’t realize that Old Navy is ALREADY offering amazing pre-Black Friday deals. If you haven’t stopped by their site, they’re offering 40% off of everything and 50% off of everything for credit card holders. That makes this adorable plaid dress only $22; so cheap that I may grab it in the other three colors. Be sure to keep coming by here throughout the week. I am posting every day about all of this week’s sales, so don’t miss out!

Design Your Own Bridal Shoes

Heels: Shoes of Prey c/o | Dress: LOFT (Wearing a size small) | Necklace: Zara (Similar here) | Bag: SheIn c/o

First of all, let’s state the obvious: I’m sharing a post about potential bridal heels and not wearing a wedding dress. That is because I want you to learn from my mistake. I, unfortunately, hadn’t heard of Shoes of Prey before my wedding and I spent way too much time and money finding the perfect shoes. If you’re a bride-to-be, you know the struggle. Most white wedding heels are downright tacky and ugly! But, have you ever considered designing your own shoes? And would you be surprised if I told you that you could for under $200?!

Enter Shoes of Prey. You pick the style of shoe you want, the colors, the heel height/width, the material, toe style, etc. You can add your new married name (or anything you want) on the inner sole in gold or silver and even color the inner or outer sole as your something blue!

Your designs don’t have to be limited just to bridal shoes; I just wish I had! For me personally, I had been on the hunt for the perfect pointed-toe block-heel white pumps and couldn’t find them anywhere. So, in only minutes, I designed my own. Shipping isn’t as slow as you would expect considering they’re creating these beauties from scratch for you. I received mine in only two weeks! And I know that I am sounding like a used car salesman, but I am THAT excited about this website. This post isn’t sponsored and you best believe I will return again and again when I need the perfect, unique shoe for a special occasion.

If y’all have been following along on Instagram, you have seen me share quite a few Meritt Clothing Label looks over the seasons. As a blogger, we have the opportunity to work with many amazing boutiques. But what set Impressions Online Boutique apart and makes Meritt Clothing Label unique is that it is their own in-house label.

As if Impressions didn’t already have the cutest clothes, Meritt never ceases to impress me. The cuts, prints, and fabrics are so stunning and high quality that I always make sure to snag a few pieces whenever they drop a new line. This season, I picked up this cozy pullover and pink floral tunic. They are such staples for fall and into winter. I already forsee myself layering the pullover with  classic herringbone vest and the tunic with a tan fur vest. But if you love these pieces like I do, be sure to shop them fast. Meritt has limited quantity and the most popular items tend to sell out fast! Happy shopping, loves!
