I am back with another peek into a day of our honeymoon! I mentioned before that we took a Mediterranean cruise, Royal Caribbean’s Jewel of the Seas to be specific, so I wanted to share how we spent our port day in Santorini for anyone cruising to the beautiful island soon. I have to begin by stating the obvious – one day isn’t anywhere near enough time to see ALL that Santorini has to offer, but if you want a quick highlight reel then here we go!
Memorial Day has come and past and it is unofficially Summer!! Holla! This is THE BEST time of year, especially living around Lake Norman. We take every opportunity we can to get out on the lake and I keep my favorite straw bag stocked with all the necessities, minus my lovely friends, for a relaxing day on Lake Norman.
When we are out on the lake, there are always a few must-haves: sunscreen, floats (preferably donut shaped), drinks (preferably of the alcoholic nature), and of course, a good pair of sunglasses. I was recently turned on to Maui Jim sunglasses and they have been my new go-tos when cruising Lake Norman. This is due to their PolarizedPlus2 lens technology and lightweight style. The sun glare is reduced to almost nothing and the contrast is unmatched. Basically if Lake Norman could look any better, Maui Jim sunglasses make it happen by enhancing how I see the world.
I am so excited to finally share our wedding photos! We got married at Langtree Plantation in Mooresville, N.C. and the day was such a whirlwind, I honestly needed these photos to actually see how everything looked. You know how people say the day flies by? Well, they are only half lying. The wedding and reception were over in the blink of an eye, but the moments before walking down the aisle were some of the longest of my life. But all the stress, nerves, excitement, planning, etc. was SO worth getting to marry the love of my life! And while my amazing photographer Alison of The Glitter Lens (she’s also my blog photographer!) handed me over 600 photos, I’ve narrowed it down to my favorites to share with y’all.
