I think I can speak for most of us when I say I am SO over Winter. Bring on Spring! Luckily Jeremy and I skipped town for a couple weeks for somewhere warm and it was so refreshing to live in swimsuits and coverups instead of layers. Since I’ve returned, a ton of retailers have begun dropping their latest resortwear and I wanted to round up what I wore in the Caribbean and my favorite latest pieces.
I will chat all about our cruise in an upcoming post, but if you’re curious today we went on a 10-day trip on the Norwegian Dawn – departing from Puerto Rico and going to St. Thomas, Antigua, Martinique, Barbados, St. Lucia, and St. Kitts. The ship was the smallest we’ve ever been on and was only half full (I think people were weary of flying into Puerto Rico), but Jeremy and I were all about the itinerary. Since the ship departed from PR, we were able to go much further south than if we cruised from the continental U.S. I can’t wait to share more if you are visiting any of these islands soon, but for now – let’s chat fashion!
We’ve already had snow in the south, but Winter has just begun. And since we’ve been in the midst of a cold front, I have been stocking up on cozy coats. As I was scouring the internet, I was pleasantly surprised to find a ton of adorable options at surprisingly low prices. So I rounded up the best of the bunch and am sharing my reviews on them below. If you’re looking for a coat of any style – puffer, bomber, faux fur, teddy, etc. – be sure to keep reading 🙂
Jeremy and I had about all we could take of this cold weather, so we are en route to Puerto Rico and out on a ten-day cruise with Norwegian tonight. We usually take a vacation in December or January because the NASCAR schedule doesn’t have a break during the summer months, but since we cruised on our honeymoon, we slacked off in planning this year. We booked the trip about two weeks ago and our itinerary has us going to St.Thomas, Antigua, Martinique, Barbados, St. Lucia, and St. Kitts. If y’all have any suggestions about must-sees at these islands, leave them on my Instagram or in the comments below. It’s our first time to most of these places!
Since the trip was so last minute, I had to shop in a pinch! Luckily, I found some adorable dresses and surprisingly good dupes on summer must-haves, so be sure to scroll through the carousel above if you’re vacationing soon or if you just want to get a head start on warmer weather items. It’s also my first time taking this new Delsey Luggage for a spin. I went with the Chalet Soft+ collection because it is lighter and I can cram more into it (shocker – not a light packer). It’s currently 50% off and you can get an additional 10% off with code CORTINSESSION25 🙂 Be sure to follow along on Instagram throughout the week to see how I am styling this resort-wear!
