TGIF! What a week, yall! We spent Tuesday through Thursday in Orlando to visit Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios and OMG, it was SO FUN! If you are into haunted houses, it is a must. We got home late Thursday night, so I have been playing major catch up. Friday was spent at the DMV, so now that I am officially a South Carolina resident, I HAD to share my recent shopping spree at fellow upstate South Carolinians, Page 6 Boutique.

I went a little crazy (OK, a lot), but it was impossible not to. They have SO many cute pieces and I am excited to share all of my favorites with y’all! Hands down, my top pick is this striped cardigan. The colors and pattern are just spot on for fall. I also grabbed this velvet dress and this camo pullover. Keep scrolling for all of my picks and outfit details!

How to Style a Pleated Midi Skirt

Happy Monday, y’all! Hopefully some of you have the day off and are enjoying the long weekend. We spent the weekend in Charlotte for the race and now I am trying to pack in a hurry because we are heading to Orlando tomorrow for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. We went last year and it was SO fun! Mostly because they kick kids out of the park and open a ton of bars! (LOL) Andddd there will be a SAW house previewing the new movie!! I am the biggest SAW fan so yippee! It is going to be 90 degrees for the next couple of days, so it’s tricky to pack because I have put up all of my summer clothes. Plus, you can’t wear dresses or flip flops or you’ll be flashing your fellow park-goers, so rompers and strappy sandals it is!

But back to fall fashion… My favorite article of clothing to style throughout this transitional time is skirts. There are so many silhouettes I’m loving – the denim mini, the suede a-line, the circle – but the pleated midi skirt is the most dramatic and feminine of all! It is so easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. I styled it here with a number of neutrals for an easy, casual look and I paired it with a dressier sweater HERE for a date night look. I rounded up all of my favorites below and omg, the navy crushed velvet is already in my shopping cart!

Classic Fall

Another day, another one of my go-to fall looks. And once again, I’m at a farm! The best part about living in Spartanburg is how close we are to so much – the beach during the summer, the mountains during the winter, and gorgeous rolling farmland, perfect for checking things off my fall checklist. Speaking of seasons, throughout Spring and Summer I am all about feminine pieces. But once fall rolls around, I love to combine those with classic, preppy looks. A skirt, sweater, and boots combo is such an easy and comfortable look. Top it with pearls and you have one of my favorite and timeless autumn looks!

Thanks to the wonderful Columbus Day sales that have begun, this skirt is 40% off! It runs TTS and I am wearing a size 4. Jeremy and I are spending the holiday in Charlotte for the race, but stay tuned to my Instagram Stories for all the best sales!
