Hello, November! We’ve been patiently waiting for the leaves to change here in the Carolinas and thanks to a balmy Fall, we had to wait a little longer than usual. But like blooms in the Spring, it happened all at once and the colors this year are stunning. To enjoy some time outside, Jeremy and I took a trip to Bryson City, North Carolina recently. Bryson City is known for the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, but what I love about it is how central it is to a ton of mountain towns I love visiting like Cherokee, Waynesville, and Sylva. Plus, I found the most adorable vintage airstream so we could partake in a little glamping.

When packing for the trip, I knew I needed comfortable and casual layers since we’d be spending a lot of time around the campfire, so naturally I reached for my Southern Shirt pullovers. While they have a ton of new arrivals, I tend to gravitate towards their classics like the Loop Knit Terry Pullover and the Boyfriend Sweatshirt. They come in a ton of color options and I am wearing a size small in both. Southern Shirt was nice enough to extend a discount code to all of y’all! Use code INF-CORTNEY15 for 15% off of your order.

Thank you to Southern Shirt for sponsoring this post. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

TGIF, loves! Jeremy and I just returned from Charleston and I am so excited to share a few looks with you today. If you’ve read here for a while, you know that we’re only a couple hours away from the Holy City, so we try to pop over there once a month or so… whatever fits both of our schedules. And as the weather heats up, no trip to Charleston is complete without a day at Sullivan’s Island. This beach is so tranquil and undeveloped – it seriously is my happy place. My tip: put Sullivan’s Island Lighthouse or The Charleston Light into your GPS and head out to the beach via the boardwalk 🙂

When it comes to packing for a Charleston getaway, you’ll naturally need dressier pieces for nights out on King Street, but always remember to pack some casual looks for beach days. My go-to brand lately has been The Southern Shirt Company. Y’all may be surprised to know that away from the blog, I am a t-shirt and shorts kind of girl but that doesn’t mean that I’m not getting my daily dose of pink in my wardrobe.

The Coziest Southern Marsh Pullover

Anyone else needing a little extra coffee to get through this Monday? I blame The Talking Dead – I ALWAYS have to watch it right after The Walking Dead (especially when Jerry is a guest) and it keeps me up way to late on a work night, making Mondays extra rough. This Monday, in particular, is our last day at the shop before the NASCAR XFINITY Series season begins. We fly down to Daytona on Wednesday and I can’t wait! The best part about working in NASCAR is going to the racetrack, especially one at the beach!

I am packing this cozy pullover from Southern Marsh to wear on the flight. It comes in eight colors and it was so hard to choose between all of them. I am wearing the midnight gray and washed red. FYI – Southern Marsh has unisex sizing, which is great for me because I love a slouchy oversized look. But just keep that in mind when ordering. This is my third sweatshirt I have ordered from them and have been a small in every one (for reference, I am 5’4).
