TGIF! I have been looking forward to sharing this fun tropical dress with y’all. It is such an easy dress to throw on and look immediately pulled together. Sizes are going fast though so if you love it, be sure to snag it soon! I am also OBSESSED with this dress… it’s in my cart now 🙂

I hope y’all have a great weekend! My mom is in town to tour some wedding venues. Jeremy and I have a super specific date in mind because of our travel schedules so fingers crossed one of these work because we don’t have many options! I’m also taking some pics for the blog at one of the potential venues and I had the realization that this is going to be the last shoot of summer clothes. Fall is such a fun time to outfit plan for, but it is so easy to change in and out of summer looks when you’re shooting a bunch at a time! Haha!

Lips: Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lip Color in Devotion (pink color) and Embrace (nude color) / Eyeliner: L’Oreal Infallible Eyeliner in Carbon Black / Liquid Eyeliner: L’Oreal Lineur Intense / Eyebrow Pencil: Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil / Primer: L’Oreal Voluminous Primer / Mascara: L’Oreal Telescopic in Carbon Black / Setting Spray: NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray

I wanted to walk y’all through my every day makeup routine and share what products I use that don’t break the bank. When it comes to makeup, I love to experiment and regularly try new products. But there are a few that I use religiously and SHOCKER, they’re all drugstore products! When it comes to my face, I do splurge. (I swear by this primer and this contour palette) But after trying so many different eye and lip products, I find my favorites at the local drugstore.

Y’all, I am SO excited to share this dress with you! If you have been following along the past couple of weeks, I am the biggest new VICI fan. This website has the cutest pieces! I have already posted this look and this look, but this popsicle-print dress may be my favorite yet! Not only is the cut flattering… it has pockets! Holla! I also snagged this turquoise tassel necklace from them and get so many compliments on it, plus it comes in four color options.

On another note, I finally caved and purchased this dress in white from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. To be honest, I shopped online and in store and didn’t find much of anything that stood out to me. I guess I’m just not ready to trade out my bright colors for neutrals!

I am back from Indianapolis and am actually staying put here in Charlotte for over a week! One of my favorite parts of getting to work in NASCAR is spending my weekends at the racetrack and even though the temps were near 100 this weekend, Indy is always a fun city to visit. Jeremy and I spent our one night in town at St. Elmo Steakhouse… I just had to try their shrimp cocktail after hearing about it for years. We were all so dehydrated from working in the sun all day that we were feeling the alcohol after one drink and acting a little loopy. Be sure to follow me on Snapchat @CortDryden to follow along on all of these trips.

Not to rush into wedding planning or anything, but I have started researching local venues because the date we have in mind is within a year. I can’t believe how tricky it has been! Almost everything is sold out and everything that’s left are barns which doesn’t fit the style I have in mind (no offense to shabby chic lovers, but I’m from the ATL & can’t pull it off!) I will keep y’all updated on the process, though. Being an only child and only grandchild, I haven’t been to many weddings so this should be interesting!
